Support community rowing on the Shannon

Sponsors & supporters

CCBC is a volunteer-run, community rowing club running programmes for all ages — from junior camps to adult learn-to-row to competitive squads. Donations and local sponsorship keep all of it on the water.

Currently supporting CCBC

A sincere thank you to the businesses and people behind CCBC this year

Without these supporters, the camps wouldn't run, the boats wouldn't stay rigged, and the river wouldn't be patrolled. Every name below turned a donation into something tangible — there's a list further down the page of exactly what their support paid for.

29 more supporters across gold, silver, bronze, friends and in-kind.

Two ways to help

Donate as an individual or sponsor as a business

Payments are taken securely through our members portal, powered by Stripe. We separate the two flows because the receipts and recognition you'd want are different.

For individuals

Donate

Members, families, alumni, friends of the club — any amount, any time, one-off or recurring.

  • Standard Stripe receipt by email
  • Anonymous if you prefer

For businesses

Sponsor

Local business of any size welcome. Your contribution amount sets your public listing tier automatically.

  • VAT/CRO-grade receipt
  • Optional logo + website on this page
  • Optional mention in the club news feed

CCBC is a not-for-profit voluntary club. Payments are processed by Stripe via our members portal at members.castleconnellbc.ie — we never see your card details.

Where the money goes

Every euro you give goes back on the water

Castleconnell Boat Club has been on the Shannon since 1983 — a registered voluntary club run almost entirely by parents, coaches and ex-rowers, alongside a small group of local businesses who keep coming back year after year.

  • 04

    Safety on the river

Launch fuel, lifejackets, training, and the radios that keep the river safe through camps and regattas.

  • 05

The Sprints & Head of the River

Timing kit, prize money, marshals' equipment and the small things that make race days run.
